"Herculean Effort for 60 Seconds of Film"
When a commercial ad flashes across the television screen, the visual content can get lost in a setting that's predictable and mundane. Telluride has always provided the visual edge that can give a 30-second ad an unequalled texture and quality that's simply breathtaking! For the two Anheuser-Busch commericals shot here a few weeks ago, which will complete the 3-spot 2005 Busch Beer commercial campaign, Telluride was once again in perfect form and at her glorious best. But to access the magic of Telluride's awesome beauty, and to move a crew of 55 people laden with tons of heavy equipment necessary to "get the shot", it takes an effort of Herculean proportion. My good friend Tim Territo assembled a cast of local technicians and skilled mountaineers that moved our production machine into some of the most difficult and mercurial of this region's locations. The folks from Anheuser-Busch and from the DDB Ad Agency in Chicago were in awe of the collective effort that made it all possible.
